Harry's Anthology is a collection of poems and shorts stories created as a birthday present for my client's father. I designer the layout of the pages and the dust jacket. I then hand bound the book together. You can see photos of the process below.
Once I had the pages printed at a local print shop, I hand-bound the book. First I folded the pages and created signatures. I then sewed them together using kettle stitching.
Once the book was sewn together, I glued two pages of card stock to the front and back and glued a ribbon to the spine. After, I created the hardcover using board and book cloth. This was then attached to the pages to create the book. I then added the dust jacket.
